Heath Ledger Scholarship - Australians in Film

Australians in Film is thrilled to announce the 2024 Heath Ledger Scholarship is open for submissions!

The 2024 Heath Ledger Scholarship will be awarded to an emerging Australian actor who demonstrates extraordinary ability and dedication to their craft and has international aspirations in their career and or training. AiF are strongly encouraging applications from under-represented members of the Australian acting community to apply.

Applications open Monday July 1, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. PDT (USA) / Tuesday July 2, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. AEST (AUS)

Applications will close on Wednesday July 31 at 4:00 p.m. PDT (USA) / Thursday August 1, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. AEST (AUS)

NO EXTENSIONS WILL BE GIVEN

Who Can Apply?

Any actor who is an Australian citizen 18 years of age or older (must be 18 at the time of application)

What Should I Prepare?

Industry standard headshot and credits

Two (2) letters of recommendation (in PDF format with contact information)

One reel of your choice up to two (2) minutes in duration.
