AiF EPP Title

Australians in Film, in association with Animal Logic Entertainment and Truant Pictures, presents the inaugural Emerging Producers Program, running from February to March 2025.

ABOUT

This four-session online masterclass is crafted to empower emerging creative producers with the essential tools and knowledge to make their feature film projects pitch-ready. Through dynamic discussions, engaging panels, and real world case studies, participants will dive deep into the art of sourcing, developing, and pitching projects, while gaining an insider’s understanding of the U.S. marketplace. With a sharp focus on building relationships and mastering industry practices, the program brings together top U.S. producers and executives. While this inaugural session focuses on feature films, future editions may expand to include television producing.

Moderated by Amal Baggar, former executive at MTV Entertainment Studios, this masterclass is free for all AiF members.

Each session will last 90 minutes inclusive of a 30 minute Q&A, and be conducted in a Zoom Webinar format. 

Following each session, participants will be invited to a separate 30 minute Zoom Meeting to debrief and network with each other.

Inception - Sourcing IP and Developing an Idea

Developing a Film Pitch

What Makes a Great Creative Producer

Who Should Attend?

This program is tailored for emerging film producers who want to expand their knowledge of both the independent and studio systems, with a focus on the U.S. market. However, anyone eager to deepen their understanding of producing is welcome to join. No specific eligibility requirements apply.
