Demystifying LA Film Permits:
Featuring City of Los Angeles Motion Picture and Television Manager (and AiF Member) Eva Bitar
The thought of filming in L.A. and obtaining Film Permits can be intimidating, whether you're a long-time resident or first on the ground in Los Angeles. Join us for a special industry workshop with L.A. Film Permit guru and AIF member Eva Bitar. Eva will discuss not only the do's and don'ts of filming in the Los Angeles area, but also about incentives to stay local, and answer all your questions about where to start the process of negotiating locations and authorizations. Plus a few of her stories along the way!
Eva Bitar is the City of Los Angeles Motion Picture and Television Manager. She is the dedicated Citywide Filming Coordinator and Industry Liaison. She serves as the single point of contact to address production needs of the Film Industry. Eva has created a comprehensive program to support and encourage motion picture and television production in the Los Angeles area, and advises the Mayor and City Council on film related matters. Eva is the Film L.A. Contract Administrator and chairs the Citywide Film Task Force, a body that creates a forum for the film industry to communicate their needs to the City.
