For Now

Produced, Directed by and starring

AiF Members Kane Senes & Hannah Barlow

Feature-length dramedy FOR NOW was co-written and directed by Hannah Barlow and Kane Senes.

With a budget raised entirely on Kickstarter and shot in real-time over a 7 day road trip through California with a cast and crew that fit in one minivan, FOR NOW is a true example of making a film from nothing. Shot from an outline with no script, all the dialogue was 100% improvised and the actors played themselves using their real names, creating a cinema-verité-style realism intended to blur the line between reality and fiction.

FOR NOW was recently nominated for Best Narrative Feature at the Ashland Independent Film Festival and has its Australian premiere at For Film's Sake later this month.

The feature will follow the short film ADULT by director Jamieson Pearce and producers Liam Heyen and
AiF Member Cyna Strachan.

Having enabled a loss that now torments her, a woman goes to an adult store in search of redemption. Based off 'Porn 1' from Merciless Gods by Christos Tsiolkas. Starring Victoria Haralabidou.

coming direct from SxSW 2017  and winner at the Melbourne Queer Film Festival
